Hearing Solutions for Your Everyday Life
Hearing aids should suit more than your hearing-test results. They should also fit your daily activities, comfort, communication needs, and budget.
At Bahama Hearing Clinic, Dr. Treasure McKinney helps you explore suitable options and provides fitting, guidance, and ongoing support.
Your consultation focuses on the situations where you want to hear more clearly—whether that means conversations at home, meetings, telephone calls, or time with family and friends.
We’ll discuss suitable hearing-aid styles, features, and technology options, explain the costs, and answer your questions.
A current hearing evaluation is needed before we recommend hearing aids. If your test was completed elsewhere, please bring the results. For a Communication Needs Assessment, hearing-test results must be no more than six months old.
At your fitting, your hearing aids will be programmed for your hearing needs.
You’ll receive guidance on inserting and removing your devices, charging or changing batteries, cleaning, and everyday use. We’ll also discuss what to expect as you adjust to hearing with your devices.
Allow approximately one hour and 15 minutes for your fitting.
Your care continues after you receive your hearing aids.
Follow-up visits allow us to discuss your experience, make adjustments where needed, and help you become more confident using your devices.
We also provide hearing-aid checks, cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair support.
If your devices are uncomfortable, sound unclear, or are not working as expected, schedule a Hearing Aid Check.
Please bring your hearing aids and any accessories related to the problem, such as your charger.
Hearing-aid checks are approximately 30 minutes and cost $88, including VAT. Coverage under an existing service package or warranty, and any additional repair costs, will be reviewed with you.
