Dr. McKinney's aim is to provide quality hearing care to all within a private setting. Being accessible and spending adequate time with patients are factors that she values greatly.

OUR SERVICES
Diagnostic Hearing Evaluations
Diagnostic assessments for children (6 mos. & up) and adults, including middle ear assessment and acoustic reflex testing. For children, testing may include visual reinforcement audiometry (VRA), conditioned play audiometry (CPA) or traditional audiometry.
Hearing Aids & Assistive Listening Devices
A needs assessment is completed before a treatment pan is recommended, followed by a hearing aid fitting and orientation appointment. In addition to considering the degree of hearing loss, speech-in-noise testing is completed along with discussions about lifestyle and other personal preferences during the needs assessment.
Earwax Removal
Professional removal of wax done both manually and via irrigation. We use video otoscopy to provide a clear image of the ear canal before and after removal.
Real Ear Verification
Ensures that hearing aids deliver appropriate amplification based on your personal ear characteristics. This is an essential part of any hearing aid fitting and reduces office visits.
Custom Earpieces & Hearing Protection
May include ear molds, custom earbud tips, swim plugs, in-ear-monitors, etc.
Tinnitus Management
Thorough case history and questionnaires are given to help determine cause of tinnitus. Management techniques and treatment are discussed.​

Experience
Dr. McKinney completed her fourth year externship at Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates in North Carolina and worked at a busy ENT practice, Allergy ENT Clinic of NE Texas, following graduation. In 2019, she initiated an audiology clinic within a large private multi-specialty clinic, Family Medicine Center, here in Nassau.
